hey i have a 06 hd with 6.0 i took it to dealer today to get ac compressor fixed and they also found that it needed an engine mount and a tranny mount? and a leak in power steering hose it is practially brand new..? and another thing can i erase my nelson tune if they do diagnostics on it or something?
i meant will it erase it if they do diagnostic or whatver the hell the dealership does
They could overwrite it with an updated OS if they see that you don't have the latest tune. Be sure to tell the service writer not to update the PCM since it works great and you don't want to potentially change that.
i just called dealership and told them not to touch pcm with alot of !!! that behind it
Yeah, they brake the motor mount on one side and can then rub stuff through the pan causing oil leaks. P/S hose leaks are common. Doesn't sound like there are any complaints that need a PCM flash so you're probably safe. Why would you worry about that on an '06 anyway?
