you're not supposed to need a bracket, just a longer bolt and some washers to change out with one of the factory bracket bolts.
i no when i did mine i used ls1 injectors..just curious would the truck injectors work in the ls1 style intake
you can make them work, but I'm just going to swap mine out with new rails and injectors. look on ls1tech you can pich them up for between 50-75 for everything shipped
Speartech makes a bracket. You will have to figure out the water pump issue as well.
This fall I swapped a GM LS1 crate engine into my 2001 z71. I used a 2008 Chevy truck water pump and rad hose; also I purchased FLEX A LITE electric dual fans as well. This was required in order to use the LS1 intake, MSD sells a wiring kit for the LS1 injectors (you will have to cut off the old injector plugs) .The idler pulley relocate bracket was easy to build, the washer spacers will also work. Then cut off the tab that held the original idler pulley to the alternator bracket, you will need the extra space for the throttle body. This manifold sits lower on the engine. Also the oil pan needed to be swapped as well. Modifications will be needed for the throttle cable bracket too. Don’t forget the fuel rail it may have to be modified, if your truck has a return line on the intake manifold. I used a fuel filter from a 2001 Corvette; it has the return line built into it (three fuel lines off of the filter). I was able to do this swap over a long weekend.
