Im gonna need a motor.Input needed

Whats my best choice for a pull out motor,doable in a weekend and not something out of the ordinary.Im going to be on a budget so cheaper the better,but as well most bang for the buck!....I know ,everybody says 6.0 but...I want to keep my mileage and 6.0s dont like to rev like the 5.3.Ive had great service from my current motor and im thinkin about just going back with the same with a bigger cam.I should have the money in a few months so give me some ideas.I dont have time for my truck to be down for a rebuild so its gotta be a swap.

07+ 5.3 with rod bolts and a big cam. port your heads...should have ls6 heads and the truck intake has a 90mm tb and the truck intake flows just as good as a ls6 intake...

Get a 6.0 dale. Ill search the JYs here in town if youd like. They sell em cheap around here Ill help you swap that biatch in well get it done in a weekend! And we can take the cam out of your 5.3 and throw it in the 6.0. Wont take a lot of time with both motors out

put an ls1 in there or get a new 5.3

If you could find a good prive on a 5.3 with the DOD that would be awesome. Probably not the most cost efficient idea tho....
You dont think you could get good mileage out of a 6.0? I mean I know it wont be as good as the 5.3 but you could still get some pretty decent mileage out of one as long as you dont go overboard with it...
