How can I remove the rear interior panels without breaking the tabs on the back? I am putting in new speakers and need to remove the backs. Any tips or tricks?

They are very fragile. No hints just be careful.

It has been a while but when I did them I would start at the very back panel just under the window. pull very carefully with a firm but gentle jerking motion from the bottom first. You will break some tabs, it is inevitable as the plastics are very brittle in these models to begin with. after the bottom is released gently work the top off the same way. after that it is time for the sides LEAVE THE TOP PANEL ON THE CEILING ALONE!!!!! Remove your rear and front seatbelts along with the back seat and rear arm rests on the panels(I think that is all of the parts fastened by bolt or screw). After all of the screwed on or bolted on parts are removed including the sill plates. gently start working the side panels off with the same firm but gentle jerking motion. roll the side panels out from the top panel and you should be home free. No garantees that I am 100% accurate but I have done quite a few to say the least.
