engine breather

I tried using the search but it don't work for me. My question is , how do you guy's set up your engine breathers. I made a three into one fitting, both rockers and valley and fed them into a catch can. I have read somewhere that one of the rockers should go to air inlet with a oneway valve for boosted applications to help keep the engine clean ?. have I done it wrong?
all breathers go to this home made catch can.

I usually run two -8 lines from the passenger side valve cover to a catch can (or one -8 from rt cover and one -8 from the left cover), then run one of these kits attached to the catch can (I throw the breathers out on these kits) Moroso 25900 - Moroso Crankcase Evacuation Systems - summitracing.com

It works extremely well, the kit will actually pull a few inches of vacuum on the crankcase.

Got a picture of your setup? Im interested as well in breather setups. Ive got a catch can on the driver side, but nothing on the passenger side, and I need to get something on there asap

I dont think i'll have any pics of the setup yet but i'll dig around and see if i can find them. I have the engine out right now but i'm sure i've got to have something of the old setup laying around

i dont understand what the big deal is with catch cans. i just run normal breathers on my valve covers. i don't see a need to re capture the oil fumes.

i a case like mine another FI cases. you need the can to catch some of the oil being pushed by. Yes blowby. Eventhou majority of FI ppl dont have the proper setups anyways

you definately need one if you have f/i ,or youll end up with oil all over .even if you have just breathers,theyll end up filling up with oil /condensation and leaking all over.plus they stink with braeathers only .it helps the smell to have a catch can.run -8 from drivers side then -8 from the pass side ,merge them together into a 10- 12- into catch can.easy.theyre are other methods ive seen that may be more affective ,but this seems to work descent for me.good luck

Mine doesn't leak a drop of oil out the breathers.

saying that oil runs everywhere sounds absurd, what does the fact that its fuel injected change? every motor on earth gets blow by, fuel injected or carbureted.

breathers look so much beter then a catch can. if i was running lines off the valve covers it certainly wouldn't be for a catch can, it would be for a crank case evac system.
