well i was in the z71 (stock ext) and i pulled up to what looked like a cobra R but dark blue. Well i will admit those are nice looking cars i ws admiring it a bit when he looked up and started revin on me. Well by that time i knew it was a v-6 with a body kit and i went for it. i got some revs up took off and left him a couple links before i had to slow down. I figured it would have atleast ran a little better than that but still fun first race in the z in awhile.
Good kill even if it was a V6, it should still keep up with a truck due to the weight advantage. Yeah 95% of the mustangs or f-bodys around here are V6's, the one my cousin had(V6w/5spd) was pretty quik tho. I out run a 3rd gen 305 maro in it.
real cobra r 's are only in red anyhow good kill man
that would be 99 to 03 cobra r's i believe that 94-98 also cam in black as i have seen about 100 of them running around here. everyone buys a mustang? whats with that?
We had a black one here last year on the used car lost. Think it was an 06 or 05? Not sure....don't care LOL.
There so much cheaper than an F-body in price not to mention performance,quality, ect,ect,ect. IMO the the price is why theres so many.Quote:

FYI, The Cobra R was only made in 93',95' and 2000. 93 you could get in red. 95 you could get only in white and 2000 you could only get in red. Run of the mill Cobras were produced every year starting in 93. Just thought I would throw that out there.
