Hi all.. I need the Pin Outs on the cluster for an 03 chevy Avalanche 5.3L I am changing my cluster to all autometer guages and was wondering what wires I need to tap into from the factory harness to make it all work?
Guages being used..
5" 140 MPH Electric Speedo
3.5" 8K Electric Tach
2 1/16" Fuel Level
2 1/16" Volts
2 5/8" Oil Pressue
2 5/8" Water temp
Warning Lights for:
Oil Pressure
Water temp
High Beam
SES
Brake
Cargo Light
Tow/haul
I was thinking I could just use the factory harness to control all this or am I just kidding myself??

I have no idea on those years but those signals may not work for the autometer gauges, you might have to splice into the signal wires before they go to the PCM. I know on some of them its a different kind of signal that goes to and comes from the PCM.
Just one of those things you might want to check.

The vast majority of the cluster is controled by class 2 serial data from the pcm and the bcm. most of the gauges are contralled by internal circuts and software inside of the cluster
