Wow, you think you can post this up with out pics or vids?? or even any type of specs...
pretty sure its a 408 with a 2.2 kenny bell there ricky.
yeah 2.8 KB
ill try to get some pics and vids soon.
YEAH thanks for the teaser captain. How bout a lil more in deapth to what all you got there?
its the same top end as i had before but allen built me a forged 408 for the bottom end.
eagle crank, rods, pistons
texas speed stage 2 heads
edelbrock shorty headers (want longtubes but they wouldnt fit) 3" duals with 2 flowmaster 44's. if i can find longtubes that fit ill go back to the magnaflows when i get them installed.
cam, meth injection(windshield washer fluid)
yank 2800 stall
shift kit
and cruise control works :luv:
i may need to drill a hole in the TB because it needs more air at idle sometimes, or a bigger TB and bigger maf maybe? not sure. other than that the truck runs extremely well and stable. right now its going up to about 10 psi with a 3.25" SC pulley, im trying to learn more about getting a 3" with a 8" crank pulley and change them all to go to a full 8 rib setup.
Allens shop did an awesome job and had it back together and running in a week. they got all the little things like cruise control, reverse lights, ect.. working in the second week and he drove it around alot and tuned it to make sure i dont blow it up lol
i picked it up 14 days after dropping it off. he has got this stuff down to a science now.
ive driven it about 1000 miles already and right now i want to go for a drive, i cant stand it. the truck is awesome.
Nice, so the Schoenfeld headers wouldn't fit on the 4x4 chassis? 408s are hard not to love. I thought I saw a 10 rib setup, too. Belts and pulleys for the rest of the pulleys might be fun to find, though.
i bet its nasty
