R/T, OK, I was stoping to get some gas at a big Chevron by my house that everyone uses an guess who I see fillin up. I got got on the same pump as him just on the oposit side. He was telling some kid about his home made intake an new spark plug wires :laugh: , an he also had 1 flow. So anyways, as I walk back out to my truck after paying, he is still looking under the hood of his truck braging about it to his friend an so I stoped an asked him some stupid questions an he told me how he smokes chevys an fords all day long an even lightnings, an that he thinks it runs low 14s. I tried not to laughf an I told him" good luck". An then he said he likes the way my truck sounds an looks. I said thanks an asked him were he lives( I already knew he lived near me). So I told him yea I thout I seen you around my house, an so I told him lets make a quick run down this old street by his house, he sat there a thout about it a few sweconds then I said I want to see if I can hang. An so he smiles an said ok lets go. So we are sitting there an he said who will say go? I had to tell him about the three honks an go. So I told him he could even do the 3 honks.(we were both by our selves). So as soon as he moves I just hit it an before I shifted to 2nd, my rear bumper was even with his front bumper an from there I stoped at about 90mph an he was at least 3 or more full car lengths behind me. I stop an he said that he wants to try it again next week after he gets his chip, an then we can race for money, unless I am scared. I laughfed an said, just let me know when you want to do it an I will bring money. So I guess wait an see how much ritcher I am next week. BTW, I never thout I would really race someone for $$ money. Stupid dodge guys.
Hemi, As for the Hemi it was just some dumb kit in his dads Hemi. We stoped next to each other by a RR crossing waiting on the train. An he asked me if my truck had a Hemi an I just shook my head no an gave him a your stuid look. He said his dad was gone so he was out playing around in his truck an I said, "is it fast" an hes like Hell yea. So I said follow me to this street an we can make a quick run, he said ok. So I told him to do the 3 honks an go an he said the horn dont work. So I said just go an I will go right after you. So he hits it an then I am right on his A** as soon as he moves. He jumped off the line good but my 3:73s helped hold me on him an then we hit 2nd an it was all over. The kit accualy tried to go to 100mph, but we were running out of road so I started to slow down an he was 2 lengths behind at lest. So I asked him after we stoped, Does that thing have a Hemi? An he said if his dad was driving he would of smoked me, An I said its a automatic so I dont think he could drive it to much better. An the kid just said ok, I will see you later I have to hurry home before he gets back. I said later an was on my was. When will they ever learn?

yeah they are stupid. they don't know there's noting better than a small block chevy.

I have a stock 4.8 and from a light, raced an ext. cab hemi and we necked it threw 1st, then he took me a little in 2nd, but then in 3rd i just left him there. So i can imagine what a truck with even a cold air and muffler do let alone more.

i am able to beat most of them r/t's around here except one. we have played only a couple a times. neither one of us pulled on the other. i havent seen him lately. but im looking :lol:
