I live around Austin, TX and I have an '02 Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab w/ a 5.3L V8 and I need more horsies. So far all I have on my truck is a K&N cold air intake. Any suggestions???

Welcome. Need some pictures of the ride. Get a tune and go from there with the bolt-ons.

Welcome! From Austin as well. I need more HP too! 1st question you ask yourself is how much do you have/want to spend? Then purchase the best mods for the money you can buy.
we all need hp, its addicting. just go some sort of forced induction.... the only way to fly..... just my .02
+1 Figure out what you want your long term goals to be for the truck and build from there. Keep in mind that going any type of forced induction will mean spending money on supporting mods. Cheapest route is to get a tune, bolt ons, shift kit and spray. IMO, I would agree with Red. Front mount Trick turbo and crank it up but it'll cost close to $10k including all the supporting mods.
No matter what you decide, a custom tune from Nelson is a must!
