Painted Egine covers.

Painted them today, let me know what you guys think.

I like that a lot. Might do that Myself. Did you rattle can it, or use a gun?

Rattle can. Started with 3 coats of adhesive promoter, 4 coats of high temp engine aluminum engine enamel and finished with 4 coats of the dupli color clear coat type paint foe wheels. There's still a few details to be worked out on them and have to touch up a spot or two on the pass side cover from re-installing them. But all in all turned out good, took me about 5 hrs. The long part was the finishing touches, hand painting the vortec emblem with a brush. I'll post some better pic when i get the soft ware for my camera reinstalled on the comput.

Thanks i tried. today wasn't a good day for painting, it's poured the rain all day. But it all worked out with the aid of a heat gun and stove in the shop.

I hate you lol this weather sucks ive been waiting for a day were its about 72deg + to finish painting my dash bezel. Looks good though ill have to look at it at the meet.

I hope i can get the swooshes touched up before then. The weather's been chity here this week to a lot of rain. Fairly warm till yesterday, cold and snow now.
