rear gear

can anyone help me out im trying to find out what gears i have in the rear. is their a code in the glove box that can help.

What year truck do you have ?

look in the glove box... there is bunch of code... I think GU6 is 3.42

its a 99 z71 5.3L with the G80 locker. ive been told to look for the g codes in the glove box. the only g codes in the glove box are G80, and GT4

Someone on here knows the codes... I cant remember them

would i have to rear gear if i put 33" tires

im going 33x12.5 R17

thanks for the link, with 3.73's is it ok to run 33" tires or should i switch gears.

3.73s will be fine.
