GM Navigation Radio 2003-2006

Need bigger text.

Could somebody that knows chime in and let me know if I would have to go through any hurdles to get this to work in an 05 Tahoe?

2003's had a different, non-touch screen radio.

For a retro you'd need to change the existing OnStar antenna for one with all three cable leads (needs the GPS built in), run the wires for the antennna, and have the radio programmed by the dealer at minimum.

Since I have not done this myself, there are possible more steps. Do a google search as I've seen references on this swap on other sites and forums.

Does your unit have the built in Bose system or y91 RPO code

I know he doesn't have Y91, that's Denali/Escalade.

I have an 04 bose system w/onstar....would it work?

Thats a toss up. Because there is a chance that it can work. Since all you need is the bose system to work.
