you guys have a great site. i finally found the truck ive been looking for and im going to pick it up tomorrow. its a 99 black sierra rcsb 2wd with a 5.3. right now i own a 01 Tahoe LT and a 96 camaro ss. im looking forward to making this thing a beast!

well im think im going to maybe do motor stuff first. i might just park it for the winter and start to tear into it. if i could have a mid low 14 sec. truck that will be fine for now. im thinking cam, full exhaust and a tune for now. im not sure on how low i want to go 3/5 maybe? (im not up on my lowing kits, ive always done cars.) depends on wheels, im think about doing 22" black KMC rockstars.

i really want to build a clean street truck, something that rides/handles good, my camaro is rough as hell but handles great. i want it to be fun to drive, and have some kick in the pants
no, i have my tahoe and camaro. this truck will end up replacing my camaro. its going to be toy/hauler for me. i carry so much **** in my hoe its starting to get a little beat up.Quote:

Welcome to the site! I saw the pics of the Camaro build...you put an LT1 in it??? BOOOO! After modding the truck, swap the LT1 out of the Camaro for an LS1...or even better--LS7!!! HAHA... Anyway, I also noticed you are a fan of the FCs. Were those Turbo II cars?
