My Schoenfeld Headers Install
This is my install, I was able to do this because I am not done with my LS1 project. So I was able to pull the engine back out and have full access to the engine, engine compartment and motor mounts. With the engine out and on the hoist, I started by first cutting small pieces. Then mounted the shell back on, and installed the driver side header. I did this 4 times. Each time I cut a little more, until I finally was able to mount the header flush to the head. The way it is supposed to be. When I was happy with how the driver side header fit, I took it back off and re-installed the engine. I put the drivers side header back on and the motor mount on the frame has to be trimmed about 1/16 of an inch. I am not too worried about that, because the engine has to come back out anyway. And I will just do it then. The passenger side header went on without a single problem. I am going to put up some pics just need to figure out how to. Art...
