when I bought the DJM 6" flip kit they came with an extended on the pass side that I used with there calmaxx shocks
Pinon up angle should match transmission tail housing down angle .But on a lowered truck like yours, you will see the pic as your rear-end being the one closer to teh top in this picture.http://www.cadvision.com/blanchas/Ra...inionAngle.jpg
I have western chassis 4-6 on my 91 excab longbed, shock extenders, and some brand of air shocks on the back. No problems from when i remember driving my truck last, oh two years ago. :D I have shims on the back never had any real problems with it. I checked out your pictures on FSC, lemme take a look at my truck in teh morning and get back to ya.
I looked back at those pictures, and that looks kinda crazy adjusting the pinion angle like that...i'm pretty sure my setup looks different.
Its been a few years since I installed my flip kit but I don't remember any problems with it, everything worked fine. I guess the shorter the drive shaft the more the angle is affected.
I would say just get longer adjustment bolts and move it little by little till the problem is gone. If the shock extender causes your shock to fully extend then just ditch the extender for that side.
