I got my tires balanced and rotated not to long ago and when im driving only when im pushing the gas pedal lightly it makes a humming noise ... could this be the tires not being balanced right ? or something else ? i have no idea :nutz:

could have some bad tires. did u have them road forced bal ?
Humming noise while driving
Hummmming because they don't know the words
Tires can make noise--but if it started after rotation of the tires---and only under acceleration. I would suspect bearings. Jack it up with the wheels off the ground and lessen for the Hum. Look for damage from the recent work --drive shaft dings----wobbling tires---good luck!
Yeah, prolly isn't the tires. If the bearings are going, the hum should be heard at any time--not just under throttle. Jask it up and spin the wheels like was said to try and decipher where the growl is coming from...
Depends on what bearings the poster above was refering to. Pinion bearings usually make more noise under slight acceleration or slight deceleration, even if they're quite and full throttle, closed throttle coast, and steady speed. Usually a driveline disturbance will have a speed that is most noticable. Most times you can speed up and "drive out from under" the noise only to have it return later at a higher speed.....all due to frequencies and harmonics.
You can try a neutral coast test and an engine off coast test but BE CAREFUL...especially with locking steering columns. You can also run it in the air SAFELY to check for odd ball situations.
Does it go away under a left or righ turn. Left turn no noise = bad LF wheel bearing, right turn no noise = bad RF wheel bearing. Tires cupped? Put rear end on jack stands to eliminate that.
I love it when im going down the road and hear a hummer noise in my lap lmao couldnt help it:LOL::LOL:
This did happen after i bal and rotated the tires. the tires are in good condition. plenty of thread'
I did put a gear in maybe two month's ago(betting it's this)
