What up? I own a 03 rcsb with a 5.3. Mods are Intake, throttle body bypass, catback exhaust and a diablosport predator programmer.
Future plans for the truck are to get it in the 450-500hp and torque range. I'm planning on some shorty headers or the doug thorley's tri-y's, electric fans, intake manifold of a ls6, sts turbo kit, and cam and head work. The truck dynod at 248 hp and 256 torque. I got 89,xxx miles on it.

Welcome to the site! I would say start by ditching the Diablo and getting a Nelson tune...! Nothing against handhelds but...well, you'll see...
Nice to see another Arkie around here! As for heads if you're going FI I'd move to the 317 (LQ9) heads as they are much more suited for that application. I'm going the N2O route so the LS6 heads are the best for me.
Welcome to the site man. Planned mods sound good--but for FI on a 5.3L, I would keep the stock heads and clean them up, balance a new valvetrain on them, and do a 5-angle valve job. Then have them decked slightly--but nothing to major which would increase the compression ratio. A live custom tune would be the best, but even a mail order custom tune is waaaaay better than a Diablo handheld POS... :D
Yeah ditch the diablo. Find someone that is really good with hp tuners or catch up with nealson performance for a mail order tune. Where at in Arkansas are you located.
