Just wanted to say Hello to all...
Joined today...interested in the best there is to offer in PCM programming
for the '04 Avalanche 5.3L and the dreaded TM...unlike most newbies I will do
a lot of searches before asking "already been discussed numerous times"
questions... :help:
Found yall from a post on CAFCNA by farmtruc...
Initial planning is a Predator and Nelson tune because I think a good handheld
and an excellant tune is better than just the excellant tune by itself...The handheld would be for diagnostic and other limited things a handheld can do...NOT for tuning!
Not looking for WILD, but tired of mild...need better overall drivability, shifting (stock 1-2 up is the pits) and better off the line performance (not burnouts...well...need my trans to hold together till the $$$ for bulletproofing is there...)
For me...disconnecting the MAF for 60 seconds restores temporary really nice off the line performance and acceleration but it doesn't last long and I'm gonna wear out that hard shell connector soon...

The one good thing about the nelson tuning is that he can program the computer just like you like it. He has had alot of practice with this computers here lately with the GP that they just had. And has been getting a lot of good feedback. You need to tell him what you want and how you want it to drive and he will get it programmed to your likeing.
