Anyone with a 96 or simillar truck with an LS conversion try LT headers from a camaro?
I was just wondering. I read where a guy, crammed a 6.0 GM into his 93...brace yourself, F-150, :D, and suprisingly, he found a combination of engine mounts that literaly made it a bolt in deal but what suprised me, he said he used LT headers intended for a Z28 and said they fit with minimal modification.
Which got me to wondering if anyone tried these in a 96 or simillar, GM truck.
IMO I think the problem with Fbody headers in the OBS trucks has to do with the car headers collector sitting higher to clear to low ground clearance.
And when u put them in the trucks the headers will hit the cab.
Since all I hear is that they wont work....this is my opinion.

On the OBS trucks, the frame in pinched in towards the center of the vehicle and there is just about enough room to pass a 4" round tube through there and thats about all. The height of the upper a-arms hinge point in relation to the exhaust ports is a limiting factor, also.
