Camaro SS down!!!
Ok, so I decided to drive the truck yesterday cause I haven't driven it in like 3 weeks. I was coming home from the gym, minding my own business driving like 60-65 on Highway 287 in Southwest Arlington at like 8:45 pm last night. I wasn't even paying attention to the other traffic when I looked to my left to see a 00-01 red Camaro SS with the t-tops off come up quick to the guy in the left lane going just barely faster than me...so he had to slow down...I saw him downshift (it was a 6-speed) and heard his exhaust. I slowed--to see if he would too--and he did. So it was ON!!!! I opened the cutouts, hit the T/H button, slowed to about 55 mph---and he heard it. He jumped a few times letting me know that he was game, so I manually shifted down to 2nd gear, throwing the revs up to about 4k rpms--and he heard it...my exhaust was roaring, crackling... I honked three times and mashed it, shifting into OD right away--to make sure the tranny was shifting, not me. I immediately jumped on him as I punched it and gained about 1/2 car before I hit 3rd. While in 3rd, I wrapped it up to like almost 100 mph and was ahead far enough to see his headlights in my driver side mirror. HAHA!!! PWNED! I slowed down, and he came up and matched paces again, so I shifted back down to 2nd...to do this thing again. 3 honks and the same story. Each time, I was about 3/4 to 1 car ahead before I let off. We did it again a 3rd time, but he didn't even try. The bitch knew he was beat. He came up a little down the road and tried to say something, but I couldn't hear him. I shook my head not knowing whatever he said, he threw the thumbs up and slowed and got behind me... I immediately tried calling Jason--with my hands shaking from excitement--and prolly cause I just got done from the gym, but I could barely dial the numbers cause I was so freakin excited!!!!!!! Dude, I can't tell you how I freakin love this truck after the live tune. Dale did an AWESOME job and it is still getting faster and faster each time I drive it. Last time I was at the track, my first few runs were 9.6/9.5 in the 1/8th and it got faster..down to a 9.108 by my last run. And I can tell you that is is even quicker now than what it did by my last run. With my cam, this thing is a freak on the highway from a 50 punch.

gooodstuff tyler glad your truck is finally running theway it should i tried the same thing against an 02 SS with mods i hung ok but he got me inthe end so good kill man
