How much input shaft do I need in the transmission? As It is right now I have 2 3/4''. Do I need it lengthened or am I ok?

That sounds like enough for what you're doing. It may not be optimum. How long is the yoke anyway? Near 4.5"?
I'm sure there will be other stuff that will come from together to apart for a while by the time you give her the onions a few times before for this will.
Anyone else please tell me I'm wrong if that's the case.
Yeah around 4.5 inches I will probably get it lengthened eventually I was just wondering if it was ok to drive it initially.
