I have asked around locally and no one seems to know anything about this tool they all tell me to take it to my dealer.:ugh2: Has anyone improvised and gotten these things off some other way? Or is there somewhere online that sells them?

I work at a dealer and have an el cheapo that is probably Lilse (spp?) brand. They're everywhere.
You talking about the schrader valve?
I thought he meant to disconnect the fuel line from the rail.
Your prolly right. makes sense.
Yeah from the rail, I got one but can't get the other...
My cheapo has a 5/16" side and a 3/8" side. One side for supply, the other for return (although the tubing is actually metric...prolly 8mm and 10mm???).
While we find your parts, please enter your ZIP Code at PartsAmerica.com
theres an example of the tool. I just bought a cheap one from oreillys. It was like $3 or $4.
Like said above, there everywhere...meaning, all the auto parts stores have them. They make them in both plastic or metal. Simple little tools that just slide behind the fuel fitting & separates the lock flanges from the bump in the fuel line, that allows you to slide the fitting off. Theres noth'n to them. They are very inexpensive.
everyone carries those.
