:confused::confused:I just bought a 08 sierra and i want to know what i should do about tuning my truck. I live in houston and i was thinking about going to san antonio to get it tuned by Nelson. I want to know if i should go or just order one. Im not really going to do anything big on the truck. Just simple bolt ons. No spray or s/c. what should i do??? OH BY the way im NEW!! Thanks.
I don't know how far you are from his shop, but I'd say go for the live tune right away. The other guys know a lot more than I do about him, but he can get you set up for anything you want to do on your truck, and a live tune is more accurate as far as a/f ratios, spark, etc.
Drive over there so you can get a live tune and he can also tune the transmission. Otherwise you have to pull stuff apart and put it back together to tune it. A live tune is so much better than his great mail order tunes.
i live in houston. San antonio is like 3 or 4 hours from houston so im pretty sure im going to go but first i want to put some small stuff on my truck.
Be sure you call for an appointment. They prefer not to do walk-ins.
