I am putting a 94 LT1 in a 1989 Chevy silverado. I am haveing some trouble. Do you have a part number on the headers?? Also what did you do on your AC and Power steering? I put the Motor mount from the old 350 on the LT1 and The seem to work fine but the headers will not fit. I am having the wiring harnesses graphed together so that should make it easier. how would you run the kick down on the 700R?? This will get me started. If you know of anything else I should know please let me know.

I used Edelbrock headers made for the truck. Finding Dport headers to work in the truck would be tough. The Edelbrocks work really good, just be sure to buy coated headers. You can also use factory cast manifolds if need be. Just be sure to buy gaskets to match the truck headers/manifolds if you use them. Don't use the Dport gaskets. You should have bought a Corvette accessories setup to use it in that truck. I just pulled a complete 93 Corvette LT1 out of my 92 2wd and replaced it with a LS1. The Corvette accessories adapt with no hassles into the 88-98 trucks. If you can't find a set of vette accessories, contact Street and Performance at www.hotrodlane.cc for custom brackets but bring a handful of money with you.
I hope Dynatech isn't doing your harness.
The kickdown cable may be tricky. You may want to find a tranny from the vehicle the engine came from. Findin a cable long enough to go all the way to the throttle pedal or throttle body will be tough. You may have to make a connector to join two cables together to get it there.
I used a throttle and cruise cable from a impala in my conversion.

Dynatech.
I Don't think The trottle is going to be a problem. I think I will just locate a bracket at the rear and run an extension cable.

The painted headers will be solid rust in no time at all. You will never be disappointed that you got the coated ones and they look awesome. I don't remember the part number. I bought the painted ones and they rusted almost immediately.
Dynatech has an aweful reputation and has many people on this site and others really upset. Go to Ebay and look at his feedback. His name on there is LS1PRO....lol....it is to laugh. It took over 6 months to get my harness back and he didn't do anything but ruin it. Do a web search for Dynatech motorsports and you will find a lot of people upset with Oscar. Contact the BBB and get feedback from them before you decide also. A lot is to be said about paying a measly $400 for a painless wiring kit.
Street and Performance can do you a chip with the VATS removed.

What about LT1 Wiring ??
If I remove the AC compressor and replace with an Idler pulleyis there any other modification I will have to do to make the motor bolt up??

The engine bolts up easily without the accessories bolted on the engine. Get the vette accessories and everything will be on the driver side and clear easily. Just bolt it to your tranny and the battle is over. There is nothing tough about putting the lt1 into a c1500, it's a direct bolt-in.
Buy a LT1 harness from Painless Wiring and be done with that headache too. Just pull the hard wires out of the main harness for the oil pressure and water temp. The large pink wire in the harness will power the PCM and the large purple will run to the starter. Can't remember the solenoid wire, yellow I think, pull it out of the harness for later, too. Most of these wires will be in the harness near the steering wheel. Get you a wiring diagram for your truck and only remove what goes to the engine.

the 1993 LT1 used the 700R4, which has the correct bracket to hold the TV cable for the tranny, and the connection on the throttle body to pull the cable.
maybe look for a 1993 throttle body to use instaed of the 94.
I went to year one to order my TV cable long enough for that application.
