just wanted to say hi to everybody, been checking everything out for about a week now and the site is great, lots of info which helps since this is my first LS motor/tranny combo i have had to work on. here are a couple pics of the truck it's an 2001 1500 5.3 and 4.10s

Welcome to LS1truck man. Truck looks good with the lift & the wheels/tires! What size BL is it--3"? How does it ride with the BL? Does it squeak and creak when going over bumps or while offroading? Any plans to mod that thing?

Thanks ya'll, yeah 3in BL and 3in block in the back, to me it rides better then it did without the BL , but i have had a 3in BL on both my trucks and never thought it rode bad. No squeaks or anything so far, need new body bushings though, gotta get the tranny done first. as far as mods i want to get LT headers with either dual bullets or cherry bomb extremes, want to find a 14b SF 6lug, dual CB antennas and remove the stock antenna and hook the radio up to one of the CBs, and a blackbear custom tune. Other then that nothing right now.

What is up with the tranny? Is it going out already?

LTs with dual bullets or cherry bombs will be loud as $hit on your truck!

What is Blackbear? Is it a local tuning shop?

Ask Danny, MisterP or Alan how my truck sounded with dual 2.5" glasspacks. It would rattle your unborn grandchildren's teeth. :laugh:

I went to RPM to run it on the dyno one Sat. morning when they opened the doors, we made a couple runs and guys that were running late said they heard it miles away when it was making a pull on the dyno. :rock:
