battery light
i have a 2000 nbs silverado and i baught a nelson tune with the ls1 harness for the e fans. i installed the and what i found is that the pass side fan will stay on all the time no matter what. and the dr side i havnt seen on yet. also the battery light flashes allthe time and does nit go out. i thought i followed everything by the book. What am i missing?. it doesnt over heat, run good

I moved this post to the electrical section where it belongs. Have you called NelsonPerformance and asked for help? Sounds like you connected to the wrong wire in the harness to turn the fans on, a common mistake.

i have not heard back yet. and thank you for moving that for me. i double checked myself over and over. what am i over looking?

The green wire is usually the culprit. There are numerous green wires and you have to get the right one.
-
i spliced the green wire cause the other green wire i tested was never hot at all
-
was the green wire you connect to supposed to be power or ground? I've never installed his harness before but I have read many posts here where the wrong wire was connected.

Nelson Performance - Electric Fan Wiring Harness Installation
I assume you used these instructions and you did verify that the pcm pin was fully installed into the pcm connector?

the green wire was for a/c i believe. i only seen two wires and the one green wire never got hot

I found the other hidden green wire so i fixed the fan but the batt light is still on!!
