Well, I finally got my cam in. To me it was a PITA but I have VERY little experience with this kinda stuff. Heck I don't even change my own oil, lol. A big thanks to Allen, whom I called too many times to ask dumb questions. Thanks Dude :hshake: .
To my surprise, it idled decent when I first cranked it up and didn't try to die until the e-fans came on. The worst part of the install to me was the crank pulley. I would tell anyone to get the longer bolt!! Don't be a dork like me and try to get by with a new OE one. I had to use a block of wood to tap it on there. The bad part is that the hammer that I had wasn't big enough so I put a little redneck reasoning to work and got a 10 pound dumbbell to bump it on there..Hey, it worked.
Anyway everything seems good. I'll run it for a day or to and let ya'll know.Later

Did you have Allen tune for the new cam or are you still running your tune from before the cam swap? I would like to go with a similar cam.

My new tune should be here Monday. But it really didn't run too bad with the tune I have now. It would sputter a little at red lights and going into reverse but it seems to have learned itself out pretty nicely. I'm sure that the new tune will be much better though. I think that the idle rpm could be a little higher. Allen knows what to do.
I wonder what it would do with a stock tune? Anybody tried?
