Even tho my truck aint runnin as well as it should, sometimes it seems to pull some power out of its ass and make me happy once more. For example, i was at a light the other night and a new red nissan sentra R(whatever the R stands for, maybe Retarded,lol) pulls up next to me. It was kinda hard to race when we both had vehicles in front of us so when the light turned green, we kinda took off at a slow roll and let the other cars in front get far enough ahead. Now, about an 1/8 mile up, the lane merges to one so its a race to whoever gets in front first. So any ways were rollin and we both stomp on it, he downshifts and jumps a little, but my truck caught the downshift perfectly and just snapped violently and jumped ahead of his car, and as soon is it did, i knew he had no chance cuz i was right in my powerband. it was great! Another tale of a heavy ass truck beating a light ass car....and my truck had a **** load of weight in the bed from a big party we had the other night.:lolup:
