question
I have a 1997 s10 with a 5.3 when i bought the truck the fans and fuel pump are on a toggle switch dunno why.the truck operates fine with this system but after about two months of everyday driving the switch goes out and when it works it feels warm. I have the largest amp switch you can buy i would love to put on the key but dont know how to go about it or if its safe since the the switch seems to get warm any help would be awesome!

You could wire the fans on a relay instead of direct through a switch. You'll need to wire them up with a relay to control them through the PCM also. The PCM sends a ground signal to the relay to turn the fans on.

X2, you need to use relays.
