best place would be the header collector if possible just make sure you put it in at a slight angle and not at the bottom to avoid any condensation
So it is good enough to just monitor one bank?
yeah your fine just keeping an eye on one side

Personally I would actually prefer running it where the Y pipe joins the two sides together so you can monitor both sides and get a good average, but that's just me. I don't think it matters too much how far it is from the engine, within reason.Quote:

Cool, by reading the Narrowbands it seems I am running ok around 875 mv at WOT on both banks. So I will install the Wideband on the driver side header collector. The good news it it looks like I have plent of room to weld in the bung without removing the header. I found this chart somewhere for reading narrowband o2 mv's if anyone is interested.

I would STRONGLY encourage you guys to NOT use your narrowband O2s to log your AFRs. They are only good for telling your PCM to run at stoich. Here's a graph I made of mine in relation to my wideband awhile back. You can see why it would be incredibly inaccurate to rely on narrowband O2s for precision tuning. There is a ton of noise in this chart.
