help me out here guys
ok ,yest i started my truck as usal with the e-starter.it ran 15 mins and as im walking down the stairs it started loading up and died .i got in it went down the rd barely for a mile pulled in my shop and it was smoking and caughing and died.i had literally coming out my tailpipe.wet.i dont have any gas that i can tell in the oil.so i changed the plugs and they were crappy looking and #5 cyl was soaked ,so i assumed ok i have a bad injector .theyre only a week old so i was trying too get my self to say no its not.had allen overnight me some new inj ,.back to yesterday.i checked for spark, checked f/p and it was sparratic,it woul only go to 30 psi when i turned the key on but when it did barely run not firing on all cylinders ,the f/p would bounce up and down from 40-60.weird but if iunplugged the coils and spun over it would go up to 60 after 20 spins.so with influence i was pushed to thinking inj still bcause the #5 was full of gas.today i installed the new inj anyway after testing the old 1s and finding out they seemed fine with an inj, machine.so i went ahead and said wth ill put the new 1s in anyway.same thing .i spun it over and now it wont start at all and my pressure wont come up past 15 psi with key and spinning over.hers the weird thing ,the truck is flooded again #5 is full of gas ,i mean puke in the face full.how is this possible if the f/p is going or gone bad?could it be a regullator issue?i have a areo bypass reg on it.i know this is a long story but i needed to explain in detail for the pros.the cylinder is soaked wth? why.help me figure this out guys.o i did change the coils to be safe in case i had week spark. will low pressure cause an inj to piss ou gas instead of atomizing it.?thank you .

Spark is the only thing I can think of. I wish I could help.

yeh its a tuff 1.i though of that too ,changed plugs and coils.plus im gettin spark.as far as i can tell.i keep thinking it might have somthing to do with wiring in my injectors ,but i have been ok 4 a week ,it just did t yest, plus yhe whole f/p thing .idk.im confused too

i guess ill wait too see what the big dogs have to say.lol

As with any fuel injected engine, get the fuel pressure correct before trying to diagnose it any further.

Are you getting spark to #5

You might be pushing way too much fuel. and are you Positive its fuel, and not water mixed with fuel? You might have a blown head gasket. If it was fuel that filled up the combustion chamber, it shouldnt fill it up unless the injector does not turn off. Also if you have spark, it should ignite at least some of the fuel. Also do a compression test on the cyldrs, especially #5. Just opinion.

Ok, so you have wired in a new injector harness?
From the sounds of it, the injectors are allowing WAAAAAY to much fuel to enter the CC. And what is telling the injectors to dump in so much fuel? Is the tune correct or up to date?

well this is about as rediculous as it can get.after all this messs the other day,i installed a new aeromotive fuel pump, plenty of pressure now .so ii change the plugs ,oil and start spinning over thousands of times and cnt figure out whats going on ,i have spark fuel etc and its not starting,so i spin over again and look under the truck and coincidentally ivve got fuel coming down my bellhousing.i chase it bac under the hood and its coming out of a vacuum line .w t h im thinking.well it was pushing fuel out of my bypass line on my regulator into the intake.if the vac line didnt blow off i wouldnt have found the source ever.isnt that amazing?the crap that happens.so in turn i gues i had to use my SPARE regulator 179 later.so with this lesson i bought a new set of injectors ,a new fuel pump and a new regulator.wonderfull ! so if anyone can use a extra aeromotive top of the line fuel pump let me know ,i have an extra ill be posting soon.WITH PICS,lol
