Hi,yall. Never joined a forum before,can't type,finger's slow, but my truck's not. I've browsed alot of forums and done a lot of swaps over the years. curently i've got a 70 cst sb w/moded 5.3 and a 85 jag xjs w/zz4, trick flow heads, jacobs, and some other stuff, and (stupidist thing I ever did),bought an old harley fxs,guess i'm a masochist. Oh Well. I'm gettin ready to start a 78 datsun 280z w/ls6,t56, if it fits in the tunnel. my real love is trucks. I,m here to learn and share if i,m welcome. Our hobby is really all about people,and remember, torque is how fast you get to the wall, horsepower is how hard you hit it.

Welcome! Got any pics of the truck, and maybe some swap notes that can be posted here. I have seen an LT1 and t56 in a 240z, so I would think the LS6 would work.

How hard is it to deal with ls1Edit? I had to mail order a tune from Lee at LHT performance, I'm happy with it, but I think there's more to be had. I just like doin' things myself. Ever hear of him, near Tampa?
