Brake Question
Truck: '00 Silverado 4.8 Reg.
Looking to get a brake kit for my truck, specifically a WilWood or Baer kit.
With that said, and being very brake ignorant.
It looks as though I have calipers on the front and rear, instead of drums on the rear like the newer models, meaning I would have to buy a front and rear caliper kit. Correct?
Is this a hard DIY or would I need professional assistance?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes, you would need front and rear rotors, calipers, and pads. It is a DIY job. It is just like replacing brakes on any other 4 wheel disc brake vehicle. But you have to pay close attention to the parking brake connection at the rear. You also have to make sure that if you do big brakes, that your wheels can fit over the calipers...

If you did all the work to your truck, then you can handle a brake install. Just take your time, I just did mine and you really have to pay attention to the instructions on the wilwood kit.
