Pathetic little RX8 and a Hemi
Ok, well thse two stories happen as I am coming home from the gym...
First...an RX-8. A couple days ago, I was crusing at about 60 mph heading south on 121 when his little guy comes flying up the on ramp... I was in the right lane and moved to the left to let him on. He zoom-zooms up to me and looks over...almost like to say "You wanna run?" Then he does the typical lurching thing to get me to bite... Well, it worked. I hit the T/H button, open the cut out and he immediately hears me and jumps on it. Since he got the jump on me, I nailed it and it was pretty much a bye-bye for him. I quickly passed him by 90 mph and I slowed at about 120 to see him about 2 cars back in the right lane. He quickly exited. FAG.
Now, for the real fun. Last night, I pull onto the service road from my gym's parking lot into the nearest lane. I saw HID lights in the far lane--hence my reasoning to turn into the near, open lane. His guy in his RCSB gunmetal gray Hemi comes up and slows right next to me. I know he has something on it cause it is lowered with HIDs and smoked aftermarket tails. He somehow gets in front of me due to us yielding to the offramp from the highway. I was behind him in the left lane--second from the light. He was first in line at the light in the right lane. The light turns green and he gets on it. Chirps the tires and tears off. The Camry driver in front of me gets startled by the Hemi peeling his tires and hits the brakes 5 feet after taking off, almost making me rear end them. I quickly switch lanes illegally in the intersection and mash it. Well, needless to say, I spin for about 15 yards, wagging the rearend all over the place, almost hitting the Camry that was in front of me. By this time, the damn Hemi is up on the on ramp. I QUICKLY catch him and am on his back bumper after merging carefully ( :) ) onto 121... We play cat and mouse for a few miles due to traffic. He jumped out and I caught him each time and I couldn't get around. I finally passed on the right lane and was even with him--we both nailed it at 80 and I didn't start to really pull on him until about 110. I mean, I was only about 1/2 to 3/4 truck ahead until I finally creeped up to a 2 truck lead by 130--when I slammed into my governor. I mean, I SLAMMED into my governor! My truck had a lot left at 130. The Hemi stayed with me--2 trucks back--all the way to 130. He took the next exit and gave me a thumbs up. I returned the gesture...but thinking to myself....DAYUM--Either he was really modded or I am slower than I thought... Either way, he got to see my tails...
Wow...sorry for it being so long! :)
