Hey guys i have a s10 i put the 4.8l in and recently got a 6.0 LQ4 for it...well doing some research i was wondering what was changed between the motors to give the yukon xl2500's 20 more HP then a silverado if its the same motor??? different cam? tune? heads?
Same motor, probably in the tune. What year model is it?
Mine is a 2000 motor with 300 hp.

both applications have the LQ4 with the 20HP difference...i know the differences etween the LQ9 and 4 but there both LQ4 and the silverado has 300HP and a hummer has 325...yukons have 320...all LQ4'sQuote:
