cooling fans NBS

A quick question i have a nelson tune in my NBS 6.0 it is the 93 oct performance tune. The cooling fans seem to run in low speed and not shut off, its 30 deg in NY and im not sure if they should be running this long. The tune feels awesome and im thinking that its to keep the engine temp down to keep it from detonation at higher temps. What do you guys think. Any one on the fence for a nelson tune spend the money,I put the stock computers in it to take it to the dealer for a oil change i could not get it home fast enough to put the nelson computers back in:jumper:
