Will porting my throttle body make a big difference? I am looking to make some more power but not spend alot of money! I also thought about buying a underdrive crank pulley(is it worth the $150)?

I did mine myself and I felt a difference. Mostly on the low end. but if your going to buy a throttle body might as well get one that will work with future mods well. Like a bbk 80mm.
any diff. in track times if i port it or the BBK 80mm?
You can either port and polish the stocker or go with an 80-85mm BBK. Both offer good gains. I noticed most of my gains in the mid to upper roms range if anything...
So you just take out your TB and polish it down so its nice and smooth?
thats correct, There is a couple of ridges and also allot of material to sand down. Careful not to stay in one spot for too long, so as not to cause waves in the aluminium. after I got every thing that would obstruct airflow smooth, I went over it with 1000 grit until it was smoother than before. You can also polish it down too. If you want to know about polishing knobs, ask Tyler. He claims to be the greatest.
This is correct...I polish Jeff's mom's knobs all the time. She has some nice C's for being slightly older...
i have heard alot of guys say it causes idle problems with the BBK 80mm. Could i still use my TB spacer after i port it?
Most of the idle stuff can be tuned out or drilling holes in the butterfly or enlarging the existing hole
I intially had idle problems, but since I have a cable driven TB, I used the idle adjustment screw to open the butterfly slightly. I would not recommend using a TB spacer. They are worthless. I would also recommend pulleys. I got the harmonic balancer pulley along with the alternator pulley. They are great! I gained more torque if anything...
