If i run a Comp extreme energy 08-503-8 cam in a 96 5.7L Vortec with 1.52 rockers, would that be good oneto run power wise? IO plan on running a 100 shot with a good tune, CAI, TBS and stall. All information on ANY good cams for these L31 motors would be appreciated!
not sure which cam that is, don't have the catolog in front of me, what are the specs? comp makes three decent cams for the vortec L31 with stock heads, they're in the extreme energy line, for 4 by 4's I think, different duration, but all .474 lift, the middle one would work good with some mods and lower gears.
