I have heard that pacesetter is the best value... but if I was a million dollars richer, Ide get the best money could buy.
Exactly... pacesetters ftw unless you have money you don't like. The OBX's seem to be one of the next closest deals.
My pacesetters are great, they fit fine and the quality is great for the money. My ceramic coating it starting to fade right at the heads but not that big of a deal IMHO.
Ow and dont even waste your money on "shorties" they dont flow any better then stock manifolds....
Performance wise I didnt notice that big of a gain going headers, but it did make my truck sound better.
if you really wanna save money buy the painted pacesetters and header wrap them, I love the look of mine.
couple other ? will they fit a nbs07 . and i have no way to get rid of a code if i run no cats . because i have a edge chip . so any other ideas please thanks
When you say NBS 07, you mean the 07 Classic NBS or the 07 NNBS? Lucky for you, they fit both! And since you are not going to run any cats, all the more reason to get a custom tune!!!
BUT, if you have the available cash, get the SuperMaxx. But if you wanna save 50%, go ahead and get the Pacesetters and use the saved cash to get a custom tune!!!!
i dont know any one around here to tune it uless i take were i had my gto done (cartek) i just did know if the was any one on here that had results from doing the supermaxx headers . and i want to run cats it loud enough with the super 44 on it. this one is louder than my 02 and 04 gmcs both 5.3s with flows on it i just dont want to waste 1439.00 on 15 hp . but the shortys claim 14 and 21 and yes it is a nnbs lol
