Weather was perfect. Lot of good cars. First time to run with caltracs and M/T radials(275/50/15). No more traction issues at all. Couldn't spin if I wanted too.

Dayum Z, you woke that thing up! What was your 60' time?
60' 1.95 Fastest on 295/50/15 street tires w/ caltracs was 9.0. Dropped 4 tenths. 60' with street tires was 2.0 with a soft launch. Didn't gain much at all. Hooked so good it bogged out of the hole.
Now you need a stall converter
DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! I almost went today...good runs buddy.Next time ya go post up and Ill try to meet you out there.BTW Im the guy at Ennis with the red stepside.
I have a cheap cheesy factory restalled converter,Red. It will flash to 3400 on the dyno. At the track yesterday it was only flashing to about 2500.
I remember you Dale. I mentioned going to the track in my newbie thread. Next time I'll post in here when I'm going, sorry. Might go this friday if the weather is OK. A friend of mine is finishing up a 66 Chevy II. If all goes well friday should be its maiden voyage. It's packing a 572 BBC.
I'll get my tranny fixed before long and join ya! I'd hate to have to bring the BMW and show you guys up with my I6 grocery getter! Its a turd slow POS. :puke:
Sounds good!
I'm going to try a shift kit and vacuum control transmission pressure control module and see if it helps. I doubt it but its worth the try. You need a looser converter in your truck so you can get some slippage and pull. Your truck is getting faster all the time. :thumb:
Greg your beemer couldnt pull a sick whore of the pot!lol...speakin of beemers i raced a brand new 5 seies today from a dig and completly wasted him....still had the paper tags on it
