my 00 truck i had the problem and then i replaced the fuel pump/sending unit and it fixed it like new
Mine can't be working right. It gets to E really fast.

my old 2000 model the guage to a **** on me too
Mines doing it right now. When its full it reads empty or 1/4. Not accurate. Till about 7/8ths its fine. Then a little under a quarter it goes places or reads empty. And it will sometimes go back and fourth. I just got used to it and go by my mileage.
Ya my 00 gas guage works about a fourth of the time, i never know how much gas i have till im truely on E
im on unit #3 it tends to get expensive after a while
well i have my fingers crossed, mine still works good on my 02...how many miles before the prob started for you guys, i have 56000 miles currently
You are probably at the breaking point now... But you might be lucky and have a decent one that actually works!
