is this a good combo???

ok got a couple Questions i have a comp cam 212/216 .522/.524 115 with lifters and pushrods im about to put some LS1 heads with holo stems into my truck then latr a LS1 intake and rails but is this a good combo or is this just goin to screw up my compression any suggestions would be very helpful I am newbie to compression and good combos so be gentle lol thx any help would help me

I would just have your stock heads ported and polished with a 5-angle valve job done and have the valvetrain fully balanced while you are at it... You will have to do an LS1 accessory swap if you want to do the LS1 intake. Actually, I would do and LS2 intake from a TBSS...
