the Silverado stock converter stall is like 1600 or 1800. The TB stall when put behind the fullsize truck w/ larger motor, more weight, more torque... stalls between 2400 & 2600...some have claimed 2800-3000...

sob im changing tranny this weekend.i think it is a perfect conv.stock like characteristics with a stall .does anyone know what kind of longevity ,these are getting.we used to use vega conv in our turbo 350s they worked great but blew apart quick..any1 else have 1 ?and it has to be a ss tb with a v8 to work correct?
Quit throwing money at it and just buy a good convertor! Call Precision Industries and get them to build you a good converter for your setup. Tbyrne can get you an awesome price for the converter, too. Give them a call for pricing.
we are getting a little group buy from pi right now so we can get some verters cheaper than buying 1 at a time...
