I have the mods in my sig with the STS,,, I still have the factory plugs in and it is tuned with those will the be a noticible difference if i went to a different plug and wire, Some people say to go one colder then stock , And if so what plus would work??? And how much difference would t be would i be able to add some more timing back in it?
Probably a set of NGK TR55 plugs if you like copper plugs and don't mind changing them every 30k or so.
I run NGK TR6 gapped between .030-.035
what is the differnece with running a colder plug vs the stocker???
plugs and heat: you dont want a glow plug...

The temperature of a plug means the operating temperature. If you increase the compression ratio (IE turbo, supercharger, nitrous ect.) the engine produces more heat and makes the plug get hotter than normal. If the plug gets hot enough it acts like a glow plug in a diesel and ignites the fuel air mixture before the spark does. This will cause pinging and dead pistons. I run the TR6 plugs gaped at .035.
