Took the work truck to the track last Sat for the first time. I ran a 8.81 in the 1/8th mile at 81mph. The posi unit is shot-doing the 1 wheel peel so I had to baby it off the line. The best 60 ft was a 2.16, not bad for a 3.08 gear and not flooring it til probably about 100ft out. With gears and traction I think it would go 8.4 to 8.5 Definitely got some peoples attention, an old beater with toolboxes running in the 8's. I am happy with it. Got almost 8000 miles on the conversion and no probs yet. :rock:

I would think that 1/8 mile should be good for a 13sec, right ,

Congrats on the time. Truck are not to race. hahaha They are to haul (a$$) stuff.
