Houston Newbie
ughhhh Im the new kid on the block...
My name is Justin, I just bought a new 07 classic GMC ex cab about 4 weeks ago and love it. It is my 3rd GM truck. When I was 15 I bought a 1969 chevy c10 and shortly after sold it to dad to buy a 1992 chevy single cab swb when I was 16. My jr year of highschool I sold the chevy and bought a FORD! Yup I said it, the 4 letter "F" word lol. After driving it for almost 5 yrs I came to my senses and sold it. I keep telling myself if I got a new one I would not dump money into it after I lost all of what I put into the ford...man was that a joke. The night after getting it I was starting a list of stuff to buy and 2 days later bought a 2.5 spacer lift for the front. Hopefully after Christmas I can save up some money to get a few goodies. Enough with the chit-chat, ive been on plenty of boards, you guys want PICS!! hahaha
Truck I have now...

Damn... yeah, Ricky is right--even though I HATE saying that... And why are you wanting to raise the front 2.5"? IMO, I would get the 2" rear drop/leveling shackles...

I had a lowered truck for a few years and always wished i had raised it. Now that I am gonna raise this a little and throw some more meaty tires on it... I will prob always wish I lowered it.
I wont lie, everytime I pass a sierra crew cab or ex cab lowered it looks soo nice. I love the 3/4 with some 22s!

I am not suggesting doing a drop, but just throwing on some 2" leveling shackles. It doesn't compromise the ride, plus it makes it look a lot cleaner when it is leveled. Having a 2WD leveled truck with some wider tires looks pretty trick!
