I bought 2 inch drop shackles and i can get the hanger bolts out but the leaf spring bolt wont budge. I can get the nut off but the bolt is froze. I've tried a impact and a breaker bar and it wont turn or anything. What is your suggestion on getting it out without destroying it?
Maybe try taking weight off it.
The leaf spring is still attached to the shackle with the bolt stuck in it. The shackle is disconnect from the hanger, so there is no weight or binding. I can take the shackle and wiggle it but the bolt wont move
oic, you could always try heat, or cold, It worked in shop class, imo

i am having a hard time picturing what you are talking about.
knock the $hit out of it with a hammer. works every time.
Try spraying a bolt penetrant or WD-40 in and around it. Let it sit for a while so it can work it's magic... Make sure to put a floor jack under the rear end so that all of the binding tension is of the bolt. Then smack the crap out of it with a small sledge hammer....
get a bigger hammer??
