4l70e any better ?

does anyone know how the tranny in these TBSS's are? it says its heavy duty, and the being a 70 instead of a 65 must mean its slightly stronger. but i have blown every tranny in every chevy I've had. i plan on getting decent power out of this thing. so far my plan includes LT's ORY and cat back, with intake and diablo predator. but i don't want the tranny going out. although it does have a 100k 5 year warranty on power train.

I blew mine in my tbss after about 60K miles. IMO Not any stronger.

Yup, you are right...the tranny is the only weak point on that whole truck. Just run it like you wanna...it will eventually give out. Use that warranty to it's fullest extent while you are still covered. Hopefully, you might be able to bargain with the local dealer to build it stronger if it keeps on breaking...
