Stupid Tires Plus

So a few weeks ago I bought some new tires for truck 295/75r16 Nitto A/T(33in). Well I go down to Tires Plus to have them put, only for them to tell me that they wouldnt fit, so I tell them to put them on anyways. Well five minutes later they call me back into the shop area still telling me that they wouldnt fit. The guy there hadn't even tried to put them on yet, he took one of the new tires and put it beside the old tires(that r still on the truck) and said see it want fit. Anway beside being pissied off because these dumbass techs didn't know what they were talking about, they put the tires on. And guess what, they fit and there was no rubbing. Whatever happen to the saying "the costumers always right". Oh yeah, for the guys with Z71 I have not lift on my truck. I'll post some pic soon.

I had 295 BFG All-Terrians on my OBS 97 ECSB Z71, but I cranked my torsion bars slightly...they fit just fine...

well wut do you expect, most guys i knew while in high school worked at various tire shops i.e. discount tire/NTB

Fuggers! WTF does it take these days...at least try to mount the damn tire,then show me it doesnt fit!

I tried to tell them that I have seen Z71 like mine with 35's and no lift(torrion bars cranked). They told me I was carzy. I guess they don't know how we do it down south. Beside, I did my homework before I bought the tires. I wouldn't spend $560 on tires and not have them fit.

at sears we can only put on what the computer says ok :lol: even if they fit or not. its because they are tired of getting sued [spelling] but i mean if the customer wants it just do it !

Big companies do have to be aware of lawsiuts...everybody has a lawyer these days.BLOODSUCKING LOWLIFES!
